Are you interested in becoming a fully certified Java Developer working in the UK?

The company I work for are looking people who are interested in starting a career as a software developer. With offices based in both London and Brighton the company offers full training and certification in either Java or C# .Net development streams. Training also includes a solid foundation in Unix and database programming as well as soft skills and interview techniques. Once you have completed the training you will be placed at one of the many clients that the company provides services for. Major clients include HSBC, Barclays, the BBC, Accenture, RBS and JPMorgan.

The first year salary starts at around £21,000 which offsets the cost of the training which is provided to you free of charge. This rises to £23,000 in the second year of your contract. After two years you will have fulfilled your obligation with regards to the training scheme at which point you may continue to work as a contractor for the company or your have the option to leave and go freelance. The average 4th year developer salary at the company is around £60,000 so many people choose to stick around.

Whats required of you

  • To have a decent knowledge of at least one programming language.
  • To have a enthusiastic approach to work and the also the ability to self-motivate
  • A computer related degree is not required but it certainly helps. Maths graduates with a knowledge of a programming language also tend to excel in training.
  • You must be able to attend the our offices based in the UK in Brighton or London.

Okay so the first two paragraphs are a bit of a sales pitch, i admit, but I genuinely believe that the company provides one of the best chances of breaking into the IT industry.
